The Pooch has developed a unique relationship with each of the kids. As I said in a previous post, I am fairly certain that he thinks The Boy is another puppy - he is his peer, his bud, his playmate, and he loves him to death. The Bear and The Pooch have a mutual respect and The Pooch really listens when The Bear tells him something. Given his height, he may have him pegged as another adult human in the house. But when it comes to the The Princess, this picture speaks volumes. He adores her and instantly calms when she pets him. After weeks of me and My Wonderful Husband trying to teach him "Give me your paw" he finally did it when The Princess showed him. If I were to caption this picture with a thought bubble over The Pooch's head I think it would say, "I like you. You are pretty. Pet me again. Oh and I will give you my paw as much as you want. The treats are in the cabinet pretty girl....."
