Today was the last day of winter break - a fact that has me both simultaneously happy and sad. I enjoy having everyone home - I really do...but all good things must come to an end and sometimes need to come to an end...the kids are actually excited to go back, see friends, share stories of favorite gifts, wear some of the cool things they got for Christmas, and in The Princess' case - hand in all of the book projects she did while on break. :-) I am sad to see them go but more importantly I am sad to have to get back into a routine that involves waking up early and making lunches - two things that I am not ashamed to admit I hate. I am happy that going back gets us one step closer to summer... So anyway, on this last day of break I brought the kids for their dental cleanings (no cavities and those are some pretty pearly whites), we spent the day relaxing, had a yummy dinner of tacos, and got all three kids in bed by 8pm - have to get up early tomorrow.... but the lunches are made;-).
