My poor baby... after his surgery today he was forced to withstand the humiliation of the cone of shame. Not to worry really - he was still so dopey from the anesthesia that I don't think that the full shame of the cone registered with him. Yet. But if he can't leave the surgery site alone he will be living with this shame for the next two weeks! I hope for his sake that he can leave it alone. We jazzed up the cone with some decorative duct tape (out of necessity to reinforce it really because he broke the first one in 2.3 seconds upon walking into the house) He is resting comfortable finally and hopefully he will be back to his old silly self tomorrow.
