This morning (and many mornings) when I got up and went downstairs The Boy was already down there. I didn't even hear him get up - he was sitting on the couch reading quietly by himself. While I was putting away dishes that I had left in the drainer the night before, he got himself some waffles and syrup without asking for any help and sat down to his breakfast. It appears that, around here, the early bird gets the waffles. ;-)
