P365 - 2017 - Day 335 - As the sun was setting
With no time last weekend or this one coming up, we needed to go to the tree farm tonight. I rushed home from work so we could pick them all up at school and get out to the tree farm with enough time and daylight to pick a tree. As the sun was setting, we found the perfect tree and marked the official beginning of Christmas 2017. Even on Friday night, this is my most favorite part of the season. The whole thing... the ride there, the conversations, the laughing, the kids pulling each other in the wagon, the arguments over trees, all of it. I treasure these moments.
